Wienerberger Exploring the role of eco-habitats

Wienerberger is one of Europe’s leading brick, clay blocks and roof tile manufacturers. In October 2022, the company launched its ‘Let’s Build Better’ sustainability strategy - a rallying call to Wienerberger's people, partners and communities to collaborate and drive an equitable transition to a net-zero emission, nature-positive built environment.

This sustainability strategy is a key red-thread that runs through the heart of WAA Chosen’s retained press office activity. Positioning Wienerberger as a thought-leader and creating impact where it matters most, we have continued to secure high-profile press coverage across a range of relevant topics including solar, decarbonisation, skills shortages and Part L and the Future Homes Standard.

Key successes have included a campaign to promote Wienerberger’s range of eco-habitat products to architects, specifiers and housebuilders & developers. Offering durable and discreet habitats for British birds, bats, bees and other species, Wienerberger’s range, in partnership with Habibat, can be faced in any brick type or stone with roofing eco-habitats also available.

WAA Chosen devised a new communications campaign The Changing Shape of Biodiversity in the Built Environment. Impacting a target audience of 1.4 million in just three months, the campaign included a specialist report to help position Wienerberger as an authoritative voice on what is happening now and going forward, whilst shining a spotlight on their innovative products.
