Sika Creating compelling content to drive lead generation

To help raise awareness of Sika’s technical expertise in concrete repair and structural strengthening WAA Chosen looked outside the box to focus on a topic close to the nation’s heart – the rise of electric vehicles.

Our research showed that the face of motoring is changing radically as we move from internal combustion to electric vehicles. This may do wonders for the environment but, due to the increased weight of EV vehicles, where does that leave the UK’s concrete infrastructure including the nation’s multi-storey car parks?

We produced a specialist report (Build, Repair, refurbish: Are our car parks fit for the vehicles of the future?) to examine the challenges ahead. The Report, which included a contribution from the Chair of the British Parking Association (BPA) Structures Interest Group, explored how car park structures can be returned to a good state of repair and strengthened, allowing them to cope with the increased weight of modern-day vehicles.

The specialist report was launched alongside a range of supporting assets. This included a campaign video and landing page, a technical CPD in partnership with the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB), as well as several thought-leadership articles and a LinkedIn campaign.
