This complex project involved combining Scrivens’ Optician and Hearing Services together within one digital offering; driving footfall through a new streamlined appointment booking process; launching a new Click & Collect service; and adding a strong ecommerce offer to integrate 250 branches nationwide.
With two separate websites – and varying functionality, structure and connections to internal IT systems – a comprehensive spec was undertaken to define the most effective starting point for the planning of one single site. The functional specification was mapped out so that all of the commonalities could be defined and a new spec created that would comfortably combine both within one CMS.
The next stage was a detailed collaborative process between Scrivens and the agency’s digital team, focusing on information architecture and user journeys. On top of the new features outlined above, this included:
