Senior Account Manager – (B2B, trade accounts)

WHAT’S THE OPPORTUNITY?
We’re looking for a senior account manager to join our HighVis hub. This is our specialist B2B team, working with clients throughout the trade sector, from landowners and developers, to manufacturers and builders merchants.
Specifically, your focus will be to drive and deliver targeted, effective campaigns for our key clients, including: Jewson, Tarmac, Saint Gobain, Urban & Civic and Geberit.
As well as delivering great creative work through the team, the key to success in this role will be in unlocking opportunities and developing relationships that will grow our business and deliver on gross profit targets. This is not a role for a senior account manager who would expect a steady stream of work to manage. This role calls for a commercially-focused, driven marketer who thrives on the opportunity to develop and grow accounts.
WHO MIGHT YOU BE?
You’ll be someone who can operate at a strategic level – building the partnerships with our key clients, impressing them with your knowledge and enabling us to be a true extension of their business. This means having genuine expertise and a deep understanding of the trade sector.
It’s also important that you’re a problem solver, confident in seeking and sharing engaging propositions and innovative solutions to our clients’ challenges. You’ll be called upon to develop and sell-in proposals for comms that engage customers at every touchpoint, deliver against objectives and create measurable ROI.
You will be a natural business developer; able to demonstrate how you’ve driven substantial profitable growth in strategically important accounts in your previous or current role. We’re looking for someone who is passionate, ambitious and engaging. Someone who will bring the ‘agency factor’ and who our clients will find convincing and inspiring.
You will have substantial agency experience, at least two years at AM level with experience across similar accounts. Or you may be an experienced SAM or an AM ready to take the step up into your next role.
Based on experience, the salary range is £30,000 to £40,000 per annum, with competitive benefits. You’ll need a clean, valid driving licence with business cover insurance to allow for client visits.
