When it comes to valuing employees, WAA Chosen is an agency with impressive credentials. And has been so for quite a while.
Look back to 1998 and you’ll see that we were the first UK agency to be awarded Investors In People. Since then the company has gone on to become a regular feature in The Sunday Times Top 100 and the Best Companies listings (last rated as ‘extraordinary’). We’ve also been a proud member of the IPA for a considerable number of years, with our CEO acting as City Head for Birmingham for four of them.
All of which neatly takes us to now and news that I was delighted to share with the team. WAA Chosen has now been officially ‘IPA Gold accredited’ for two years in a row.
Under submission guidelines, IPA Gold agencies must demonstrate: an exceptional Welcome programme; a thorough ‘appraisal’ system; how training and development are at the heart of driving the objectives and the success of the business.
Having completed the 10,000-word submission document, I can attest to the fact that becoming an IPA Gold agency is no mean feat.
This year, out of 277 member agencies – less than 40 were accredited with IPA Gold status. And in the West Midlands, WAA Chosen is one of just three agencies to achieve that status.
On a personal note, having worked at the agency for almost five years, I could not be prouder of our company ethos and how it’s centred on training and development. For us, learning and improving are at the very core of our business, and the level of dedication is rare, inspirational and, above all, heartfelt.
