PR Senior Account Manager – B2B
We are looking for a senior account manager with a PR/content background to join our HighVis hub. This is our specialist B2B team, working with clients throughout the trade sector, from landowners and developers, to manufacturers and merchants.
This person will lead the delivery of campaigns for clients and contribute to our new business activity. Specifically, your focus will be to drive and deliver targeted, effective content campaigns for our key HighVis clients including Tarmac, Saint Gobain, Urban & Civic and Geberit.
B2B experience is essential, trade sector knowledge is very desirable.
As well as delivering great creative work through the team, the key to success in this role is to unlock new opportunities and develop relationships to grow our business with these clients and deliver target gross profit. This is not a role for a SAM who expects a steady stream of work to manage; this role is for a commercial, driven marketer who relishes the opportunity to develop business. You will work closely with, and report to, the Group Account Director.
Who might you be?
You will most likely have a background in PR and/or content development. You’ll be a proficient writer and adept at creating and managing media campaigns. However, PR will be just one string to your bow – you’ll have experience of delivering tactics and campaigns beyond traditional PR channels including social media and be marketing savvy.
You’ll have impressive and reliable account management skills and be a good manager (your team will include account executives and social media specialists, plus you’ll be required to work with our creative and strategic teams.
You must be able to operate successfully at a strategic level. It is essential therefore that you are a problem solver who is confident of leading our team to find engaging propositions and innovative solutions to our clients’ challenges using insight. You will develop and sell-in proposals for comms to engage customers at every touchpoint, deliver against their objectives, create measurable ROI and, of course, make them famous within their business!
You will be a natural relationship and business developer and be able to demonstrate your personal ability to drive substantial profitable growth in strategically important accounts in your previous or current role.
You will therefore have substantial agency experience, at least two years at SAM / Account Director level. You may have worked client side but you are most likely to have worked in an integrated or PR agency.
We are looking for someone who is passionate, ambitious, engaging and absolutely can-do, someone who brings the ‘agency factor’ and who our clients would find inspiring and convincing.
Based on experience the salary range is £35K to circa £45K depending upon experience, and competitive benefits.
This role is based at our head office at Wrens Court, 58 Victoria Road, Sutton Coldfield, B72 1SY. Please note that you must hold a valid, clean driving licence and have suitable business level car insurance as travel to client sites will be a requirement of the role.
