PR Account Executive / Senior Account Executive

We’re on the lookout for a PR Account Executive / Senior PR Account Executive to join our rapidly expanding agency team and work in the High Vis team. Our High Vis hub specialises in the B2B trade and construction sector, from pre-build through to moving in day.  We have three decades of experience in delivering integrated campaigns for the likes of Saint Gobain, Tarmac, Geberit and development giants such as Urban and Civic.

  • Writing press releases, news stories, articles, case studies and product pieces
  • Pitching press releases and feature ideas by phone or email to journalists, across print, broadcast and online, to interest them in covering our clients’ stories
  • Responding to phone calls and emails from journalists
  • Monitoring media coverage and reporting results to the wider team and clients
  • Attending client events and industry conferences
  • Providing support to our busy team, assisting with all aspects of client service delivery

Who might you be?

This role is for an outgoing and proactive Account Executive / Senior Account Executive with the ability to think on your feet and react positively to a variety of challenges. It is crucial that you have strong copywriting skills, so you’ll be hot on spelling, grammar and proof-reading, as well as have a creative flair for producing engaging copy.

You must also have a positive and enthusiastic attitude and be able to work as part of a team and under your own initiative. You’ll be self-motivated with a friendly attitude and adaptable to a rapidly changing environment.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a clear interest and passion in the world of B2B PR with a keenness to learn more about the trade and construction sector overall. Ideally, you will be able to demonstrate a minimum of one -two years’ experience working with relevant clients.

You’ll ideally have graduated with a relevant degree, and you’ll have at least one-two years’ experience of working in a marketing/PR agency. You’ll be proficient in Microsoft Office, with excellent written and communication skills. You’ll have a high level of attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritise a busy workload.

When can you start?

The salary for this role would be £18,000 – £24,000 per annum depending upon experience.

Ideally you will hold a valid, clean driving licence. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours a week.
