Account Executive – Automotive

We’re on the lookout for an Account Executive to join our rapidly expanding agency team and work in Open Road, which is our specialised automotive hub team. The Open Road hub team work with the likes of VW, Protyre, Cox Automotive, NextGear and Coventry Motorfest.

WAA Chosen is an agency where you’re trusted to think for yourself, and take ownership for your role, and to do far more than you would anywhere else. You will work alongside the account management team in Open Road and the key responsibilities of the role are:

• You’ll be tasked with providing support to our busy team, assisting with all aspects of client service delivery
• You’ll communicate directly with clients and encourage trusting relationships and react quickly to their requirements
• You’ll assist with the management of the creative process ensuring the delivery of creative assets they are in line with the brand strategy and guidelines whilst delivering key messaging
• You’ll conduct market research and proactively stay abreast of competitor activity, channel developments and key industry updates
Who might you be?
This role is for an outgoing and proactive Account Executive with the ability to think on your feet, react positively to a variety of challenges and a desire to develop a career in marketing. It is important that you have a positive and enthusiastic attitude and are able to work as part of a team and under your own initiative. You’ll be self-motivated with a friendly attitude and adaptable to a rapidly changing environment.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a clear interest and passion for the automotive world with a keenness to learn more about the sector.

You’ll have graduated with a relevant degree, and ideally, you’ll have at least one year’s experience of working in a marketing agency (either as part of a placement year or work experience). You’ll be proficient in Microsoft Office, with excellent written and communication skills. You’ll have a high level of attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritise a busy workload.
When can you start?

The salary for this role would be £18,000 – £20,000 per annum depending upon experience.

Ideally you will hold a valid, clean driving licence. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours a week.
