What’s the opportunity?

We are looking for an ambitious and driven PR Account Director with experience of managing and motivating an integrated agency team to join our Open Road hub team. The Open Road team work with the likes of VW, Protyre, Cox Automotive, NextGear and Coventry Motorfest – sound like the dream role for a petrol head like you?

We are looking for someone who can balance delivery against client objectives and KPI’s creating measurable ROI and, of course, making the client famous within their business, with a rigorous commercial approach to deliver agency profit targets.

You’ll be an expert at building, strengthening and maintaining relationships with the ability to become indispensable to the client.

Who might you be?

You must be able to operate successfully at a senior strategic level – you may be a current AD or the second in command SAM ready for the next step up in your career. Ideally, you will have worked on a large integrated automotive account.

You will be able to demonstrate your personal ability to drive substantial profitable growth in a previous or current role. It is essential that you are a problem solver who is confident of leading our team to find innovative solutions to our clients’ challenges.

You’re that person who is always thinking about ways to improve – you’re flexible, adaptable, proactive approach with the ability to be resilient in a fast-paced environment. You are passionate, ambitious, engaging and absolutely can-do, someone who brings the ‘agency factor’ and who our client will find inspiring and convincing. As a senior team member, you will be an ambassador of the agency’s core values and culture, ensuring that these are widely practiced and supported.

The role requires a full driving licence, access to a vehicle (with business level insurance) for client visits and reports to the Head of Hub. The salary for the role would be £40,000 – £45,000 per annum depending upon experience.
