We’ve certainly got a ‘spring’ in our step as we enter April, after a milestone March which saw us placed in the top 10 of the 75 Best Companies to work for in the Midlands! And is it any wonder when our social events combine with our amazing clients to offer evenings, such as our recent ‘Cocktails Masterclass’ which saw our Stir hub enlist the help of Diageo Bar Academy, Teisseire Syrups and London Essence Mixers to educated attendees on the top trends in drinks making.
And this passion for all things drink related stretches beyond alcohol for the Stir specialists, with the team working closely with J20 and Fruit Shoot to produce engaging activations to heighten family experiences in their customers’ pubs.
On the retail side, Stir’s PR team also pulled off a ‘ram-azing’ press event for intu Derby, unveiling Derby’s newest ram statue with sculptor Tim Roper, Commonwealth gold medal boxer Sandy Ryan, and Derby County ambassadors Michael Johnson and Roger Davies.
Our Open Road hub drove into March with a press launch for Coventry Motofest, which takes place in June. There are some wheel-y exciting events taking place this year and we can’t wait to show them off.
We’ve also now launched a social media strategy for NextGear Capital, using owned and earned media to help them to target, reach and engage the right audience and help raise brand awareness.
The second edition of TPS Insider magazine also launched this month following phenomenal feedback from the first edition. The Insider is a customer publication which is written and designed by us, and available across their garages.
Our High-Vis hub have been travelling the UK with Geberit, visiting the RIBA Learning Centre in London to photograph Geberit products installed there, and then up to Harrogate for the Hearst Homes Insights & Inspiration event. Here they discussed the latest interior design trends and met the editors of House Beautiful, Elle Decoration and Country Living.
A new brand campaign for Tarmac Blue Circle also went live in March. The new ‘One of the Family’ brand packaging aims to highlight that when it comes to having good, solid family values, Blue Circle’s packed cement range has bags of them.
Training Tuesday’s saw The IPA’s membership team visit the agency to give us a detailed view of all the fantastic resources at our (and our clients’) fingertips thanks to our association. We also had a visit from our media partners at BBJ&K who showed the latest planning tools that will give our clients a clear edge against the competition. And, Wellness Wednesday saw the team get competitive with a game of badminton with Will & Ben diving, running and swinging into first place.
Finally, Liam and Craig soared across the Atlantic to Texas, for SXSW 2019! From tech trends destined to change our world, to advances in AI, they listened to some incredible talks from influential people in the industry.
