July 2018 will be remembered as the summer that England’s young team made their own history and made it to the semi-finals of the World Cup (FINALLY!), the month where we actually had a heatwave that lasted more than a few days (50 days to be precise), and, most importantly, the month where our Content Team won three PRCA DARE Awards.
Yep, no apologies for celebrating the news that we scooped three awards at the PRCA DARE Awards. Our Tyre Safe campaign for client Protyre won both Integrated Campaign of the Year and Digital & Social Campaign of the Year, and The Daily Nail for client Gibbs & Dandy won Trade & B2B Campaign. These campaigns have also been shortlisted for the CIPR PRide Awards too, so fingers crossed we’ll have even more trophies to put on display soon.
So apart from winning awards, what else have we been up to this month? We had some focused strategy and planning meetings with clients Geberit, Shell, VW TPS, and Greene King. Plus, our Diageo Bar Academy team found out they had beaten their target of trained bartenders by 47% – a fantastic result!
The Sutton Games also took place in July. We were extremely proud to sponsor this event for the fourth consecutive year. Our communications helped drive six thousand people to the fun packed weekend, despite it clashing with a key England game. Speaking of games, our company social this month was a good game of rounders! We headed to Sutton Park and got super competitive for a few hours before heading to the pub for a pint and some food.
Finally, we welcomed Georgia Tims to the agency. Georgia joins our Social Team as a Content Creator and will be focusing her talents across our clients and hoping to be included in next year’s award nominations.
